Happy Earth People Green Pea Penne is made from nothing but 100% pure green peas. All our pasta is handmade and is a much healthier alternative to their high-carb or wheat-based counterparts. The high protein and fibre content keep you fuller for longer while remaining natural and gluten-free.
With just an 8-10 minute cooking time and an outstanding pea flavour – you’re bound to want to keep these in your kitchen cupboard! They are fast becoming our new favourite.
WHEN TO USE
Eating various legumes 3-4 times a week can help prevent chronic illnesses, including heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and weight gain, and improve gut health.
HOW TO USE
Add the pasta to rapidly boiling, salted water. Always use a timer for best results. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente (depending on stove and preference) and voilà! Enjoy with your favourite sauces, veggies and accompaniments. Also, it tastes excellent plain with olive oil!
